The Study Group schedule covers the nine knowledge areas of the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) plus Professional Responsibility, and some quiz and revision sessions.  The Study Group thus proceeds over 15 weeks, plus any breaks for holiday or other purposes.  Study Group attendance contributes toward the 35 formal tuition hours required for eligibility for the PMP examination.

Because the Study Groups are a PMI Qld Chapter initiative, supported and coached by Qld Chapter PMPs, the Study Group attendance is offered only to members of the PMI Qld Chapter.

PMIQ Exams will take place on the following dates:

• 16th July (Supported by Study Group Semester 1)
• 10th September
• 3rd December (Supported by Study Group Semester 2)

Registrations for Semester 2 will open in June 2011!

 

Study Groups Semester 2 for 2011 will kick-off on Thursday 21st July 2011 for Brisbane and the Gold Coast.


We are looking for coaches to commit 1 or 2 evenings to assist our members to obtain their PMP.  Coaches will obtain 1 PDU for each session they coach up to a maximum of 5 for each calendar year.  Please register your interest below.
